Amelia Vega (Miss Universe 2003) is currently in the studio recording her debut CD.  The Dominican beauty is working with writer/producer Archie Peña who, when not producing number one hits for such artists as MSM and Shalim, is touring the world with Latin superstar Shakira.

The album is being mixed by Grammy award winning engineer, Javier Carrion of Heavy Air Music.  

The album, which is being recorded in Miami and Santo Domingo, will be available later this year.  Look for the first single to hit the airwaves around September.
